A note about your privacy

Your privacy is very important to me. Sharing personal information can feel difficult, and I will always treat anything you share with care, respect, and confidentiality.

This page explains what information I collect, why I need it, and how I keep your information safe.

The information I collect

If you contact me, I may collect your name, email address, phone number, and any information you choose to include in your message.

If we decide to work together, I will also keep your contact details, date of birth, GP details, emergency contact details, and brief notes from our sessions.

I only collect information that is necessary to support you and help with the therapeutic process.

How your information is used

Your information is used to reply to your questions or requests, arrange and provide therapy sessions, keep basic notes about the work we do together, and follow my professional and legal responsibilities.

I only keep this information because it is needed to provide counselling facilitation.

Keeping your information safe

I take care to keep your personal information safe and secure. I use password-protected devices and files. I am the only person who has access to your records.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is an important part of therapy. What you tell me will be kept private.

How long I keep information

I keep your records for 7 years after your counselling sessions end. After this time, they will be securely deleted or destroyed.
